Goals!!!!
You make a good point. I never give myself credit for what I do...I focus on what I dont do. Well today I am packing....so I will be getting in a lot of stretching and pulling and lifting.
Thanks for reminding me of the things that I can do.
Great post!
Howdy Candace,
my goals for today is to get this doggoned fluid in. Each day has been better and better but I still feel as if I should be doing just a wee bit more. I am cheating a wee bit because the sugarfree mess mixed with water tastes like aluminum slop sooooo I said bump that and added 2 tablespoons of tropical punch koolaide to 4 ozs of Ocean spray cran-grape juice to water, mixed it with my little 9 dollar vitamin shoppe battery run mixer thing and voila....JUICE. I am now back to sipping but have to wait minutes in between due to the restriction. The sweetness may cost me a few lbs but I am willing to sacrifice that until I can get going good. I have been told that dehydration is the thing to fearand my urine is a little too dark.
I will get in exercise by piddling and walking the halls on this beautiful sunny day. I am on a chewable multivitamin so that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks, we new post-ops can do this

I haven't tried the crystal light popsicles. Where can I find them? or is this something that I may need to make myself because I have 8 popsicle maker thingys that can be filled and frozen. I have some of the walmart crystal light things but have found it to be too sweet with a metallic taste. My tastebuds are off the chain since surgery. I pray that things settle down.

I should make them myself. They are expensive close to 5 dollars a box. I only buy one brand and that's the raspberry lemonade and the regular lemonade there in the same box. I hate the raspberry ice too sweet.
If you get them I hope you like them my tastebuds have changed as well...
